    Every year, JASSA awards a select group of students scholarships so they can continue their Japanese studies both at home and abroad. This year, Fatima Navarro  received one of our awards and was able to complete an enriching study abroad program in Japan.

    The Global Science Course (GSC) is a new 2-year transfer program at the University of Tokyo designed to enhance cross-cultural interaction among global students through the learning of science.

    All GSC classes are conducted in English by leading professors pursuing cutting-edge research in the most advanced fields.

    Successful applicants can expect a generous 150,000 yen-a-month scholarship to aid in covering tuition, fees, and other expenses, in addition to complementary rent.

    The National Association of Japanese America Societies has secured a grant from the Japan Foundation's Center for Global Partnership to enable JASSA to subscribe and transfer events and membership management to "Wild Apricot" membership software and website management.
