» Texas Folklife Festival 2010

Institute of Texan Culture.  JASSA Needs volunteers!

This year’s festival will run from June 11 (Friday) to June 13 (Sunday). Folklife is one of the most enjoyable and important events for JASSA. A lot of volunteers have helped every year, and it made us so successful. Again, we need your help this year to make our participation another success. The followings are the time schedule for the volunteers. We truly appreciate it if you sign up for any of the following shift hours.

If you help us minimum one shift, we will provide you with wrist band which allows you to be admitted into the festival free. If you are available to help us (more than one shift is welcome), please let me know either by email (srvtex@sbcglobal.net) or calling at 210-259-3270 (Norio Seki's cell). Also, your friends and family are welcome to volunteer. For booth setup on June 6 and tear down on June 13, we need more pickup trucks. Your volunteer with pickup trucks will help us a lot. Your help and support would be greatly appreciated. When you reply to me for the volunteer position, make sure to include your mailing address where I can send your wrist bands to). We provide all volunteers with lunch or/and dinner from our menu items, and you have an access to all other booths during the festival period. Your wrist band is good/valid for all 3 days.
